My name is Manja. I have lived in Nijmegen ever since I was a student. Here I share my home with my husband, 3 sons, and 3 rescue greyhounds..
Every summer we travel to the UK for a long camping trip to visit friends and walk the coastal path.

I have been a teacher of English for over 3 decades now and I am still loving it. I enjoy communicating at all levels, having started my career in secondary education from which I moved on to college and adult classes. English assessments, private tutoring, and teaching Dutch to refugees are also among my various projects.
I believe that learning should be a safe and positive experience where challenging new material will help you grow and improve your skills. I would like to think that I am part of that journey, taking my experience, enthusiasm, and zest for the English language with me wherever I teach.
