Hello! I’m Ashleigh from South Africa. I grew up in beautiful Cape Town and moved to The Netherlands in 2022. I love travelling and meeting new people, so before moving to The Netherlands I also spent time living in Australia and America.
While in Cape Town I completed my undergraduate degree in English and Psychology, and then completed a Postgraduate Degree in Education. I was an English teacher in Cape Town for 6 years before moving to Amersfoort with my husband and our cat. I love teaching English because I believe that learning a new language gives us the ability to connect with other people.
I’m currently learning Dutch for the first time, so I know just how challenging learning and speaking a new language can be! My goal as an English teacher is to help everyone feel comfortable understanding and speaking English while still having fun.
