Hello! My name is Erika and I grew up in Alcarrās, a small town in Spain located a few hours away from Barcelona. However, I have recently moved to the Netherlands for love.
I have been teaching English in Spain for over seven years, both in an academy and through private classes. I have experience teaching in groups, individual classes, and online. I can speak Spanish, Catalan and English professionally, ik spreek ook een beetje Nederlands!
I graduated in English at the University of Lleida, and am doing a PhD in English Literature, as reading will always be my passion. It is through reading that I learnt of the importance of language-learning, and the many opportunities it provides. And that's what brought me to teaching, to share my experience and knowledge with everyone.
My goal is to make my classes effective yet entertaining, always maintaining a cosy and safe atmosphere. Class is where you can learn and make mistakes, you will always be accepted there. Everyone makes mistakes, let yourself enjoy the process! And if you ever need anything, I am always within reach!
