As an English teacher I have ample experience teaching a great variety of students both in the Netherlands and abroad.
In the Netherlands I worked at secondary schools as an English teacher, coordinator cultural affairs and group mentor. To broaden my horizon, I looked for an opportunity to work abroad for a while. From 2011 to 2015 I got a position as a trainer at a teacher training college in Mozambique. I was not only teaching students English language skills but also learning valuable intercultural skills.
Upon my return in the Netherlands I continued teaching but now at a university for applied sciences (HBO). I also started as an assessor English at vocational training colleges (MBO) and as an English trainer for groups and companies.
Before my teaching career I worked at various companies and organisations.
Apart from teaching I also run a small business in cultural fabrics. Both the English language and fabrics travel around the world so this a suitable combination.
